  Recently I was pulled over at about 2 am on my way to Wal-Mart by a Colorado State Trooper who conveniently and quite intentionally broke a few traffic laws of this state in order to await my vehicles arrival so he could pull his cruiser in behind me. I was subsequently ticketed for a seat belt violation, something he could not possibly have ascertained beforehand, as he awaited me and my car, to where he could whip out behind me, quite quickly, in such a manner I deemed as attempted intimidation. Perhaps trying to make me swerve? Instill fear? Idk, can't be sure, but it was definitely and blatantly out of the norm for any motor vehicle operator, let alone an agent of the law. When confronted by me over his illegal actions, the officer boldly stated, "I could have got you for a lot of other offenses; be glad I didn't" - as if that justified his actions. For a badge does not grant anyone extra rights, does it? 'What other offenses?', 'And why didn't you?' I wanted to ask, but did not, for I had just visibly angered this man. And that was a very stupid, very dangerous thing to do to a police officer, these days, in the middle of the night, on a deserted Colorado road. I was fortunate and quite glad that I was allowed by him to leave... Intact. Which I then did, Post-Haste. Having said all of that, I now say this: Virtually all police officers are suspect, as: 'Absolute Power Corrupts - Absolutely' Regards, APex, Citizen
